Infusing-machines.-In apparatus for making coffee and like beverages in which hot water from a boiler enters by a pipe 1 and passes through ground coffee &c. in a perforated vessel 8, the space below the vessel 8 is divided by partitions 7<111> into compartments provided with separate discharge outlets 9, so that a number of cups may be filled simultaneously. The vessel 8 is supported in a removable cup 7 provided with an external screw-thread 7<11> which engages an internal thread 5<11>, preferably of multiple pitch, on a rotatable ferrule 5.
