Securing wheels on shafts.- Wheels and pulleys are secured on shafts, rollers, and drying-cylinders by clamping the shaft &c. between a boss A on the wheel and a segment B pivoted at its end C to the wheel and pressed frictienally on the shaft by bolt D engaging its other end. The bore of the boss may be serrated to increase friction.
