Abstract

1356858 Grinding ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 2 July 1971 [3 July 1970] 31017/71 Head ing B3D [Also in Divisions G3 and H2] An electrically-powered angle grinder has a built-in A.C. commutator motor supplied by way of a speed regulator including a tachogenerator 10b. A supply cable 6 enters the housing 1-4 through a suppressor capacitor 7. The shaft 19 of the drive motor is supported on bearings 18, 26 and meshes by way of bevel wheels 33, 34 with an output shaft 38. The main shaft drives a fan 31 which draws hot air from the motor and speed regulator and expels it through apertures 32 in the housing 4.
