1345585 Cooling components in dynamoelectric machines KOMBINAT VEB MESSGERATEWERK ZWONITZ GERATEWERK KARL-MARX-STADT 19 April 1971 10016/71 Heading H2A Components 4 of an electronic control circuit of an electrical machine are mounted in a chamber 6 and are cooled by a fan 5 also contained within the chamber and driven by the machine shaft 1, the air inlet 7 and air outlet 8 of the chamber being disposed radially of the fan so that it acts as tangential air blower. A circuit board 3 mounted on the motor may carry both the components 4 and fan blades 5. Alternatively, the components may be stationary. The fan may be driven indirectly from the shaft.
