Abstract

1347027 Fluid-flow meters H TATSUNO 29 April 1971 12215/71 Heading F1A In a meter comprising pistons 32 to 35 reciprocable in cylinders 8, 9, 10, 11 to drive a crank shaft 14 connected to an indicating device, the drive between the pistons and the shaft includes a lost motion device, which comprises rings 40 engaging with the crank-pin 14b whereby a projection 51 screwed into the cover 7 of at least one cylinder is adjustable to vary the capacity of the meter. The projection 51 is provided with a handle 52 having a row of holes 54 around the edge thereof and through one which a pin 53 is inserted into one of two holes 57 in the cover 7. A rotary distributor valve 12 driven by the shaft controls the supply to and exhaust from the cylinders.
