Abstract
1340150 Electromagnetic relays SPRECHER & SCHUH AG 29 Dec 1971 [8 April 1971] 60332/71 Heading H1N The yoke of an electromagnetic relay has parts 9, 10 in abutment and urged together by a spring 11 which also hinges the ends of parts 10 and the pole face of a core 8 attached to the part 9 against stop surfaces 12, 13 of a housing 14, 27. The armature 17 rocks on side extensions (19, 20, Fig. 2, not shown) and has non-magnetic washers 18 engaging the parts 10 to provide a residual gap in the magnetic circuit. The armature 17 has an extension 21 which engages a spring biased rod which acts on contact springs 23, 24 which are secured to a terminal 7. On attraction of the armature 17 to the pole face of the core the rod 22 moves the contact spring 23 away from a fixed contact 3 and permits the contact spring 24 to engage a fixed contact 4. A shading ring 16 may be provided.
