Abstract

1,254,917. Electromagnetic relays. MATSUSHITA DENKO K.K. 26 Sept., 1969 [27 Sept., 1968; 30 Sept., 1968; 13 Jan., 1969; 10 March, 1969; 19 March, 1969], No. 47453/69. Heading H1N. A pivoted armature relay has a resiliently deformable plate spring 20 which is mounted on the armature assembly and engages the coil frame or bobbin 7 before the completion of armature attractive movement to increase the restoring bias. The relay has an E-shaped yoke 1 with a coil on an insulating bobbin 7 on the centre limb 2 of the yoke 1 and the bobbin 7 forms a part of an insulating frame 6 having a terminal section 10 provided with fixed contacts 11 and terminals 12 therefor arranged so that the contacts 11 co-operate with movable contacts 31, 37 on the ends of springs 30, 36 forming parts of two movable contact blocks 27, 33 having insulating bases 28, 34 in abutment and secured to the yoke 1. An insulating cord 41 between the bobbin 7 and terminal 10 sections of the frame 6 has projections 46, 46<SP>1</SP> extending between the contact springs and movable by an armature 17 held above the yoke 1 by a spring hinge 22.
