Slots, reversers, and like apparatus.-The electro-magnet serving to actuate a brake or clutch device of an electrically-operated signal mechanism serves also to close the circuit of the operating motor. The armature g<1> of the magnet g which is energized by closing the distant switch a closes the contacts d<1>, d<2> in the circuit of the motor j. This circuit includes also a contact 1 which is opened when the signal is set to clear in order to stop the motor. The arrangement described is particularly applicable to the signal apparatus described in Specification 2741/14.
