Abstract

1333766 Knitting-machines G BILLI & C SpA 11 Dec 1970 [12 Dec 1969] 58856/70 Heading D1C A circular machine having a pneumatic arrangement 19 for holding yarn in a passage 17 in the welt dial cap, also includes a clamp 25 which provides a converging slot above the lower part of the cap. If a guide 11A feeding an elastic yarn is inactivated, the last needle to knit will carry the yarn towards cutting device 21B. The yarn F1 is thus pulled into the passage 17 and into the converging slot where it is held when cut. The inclination of the lower edge 25A of the clamp can be adjusted by screw 27.
