1334777 Knitting-machine FOUQUETWERK FRAUZ & PLANCK 7 May 1971 [19 May 1970] 13762/71 Heading D1C Striping apparatus in a circular machine comprises a projecting segment 28, moving with a needle bed, which entrains and directs a thread or threads into the slot 3 of thread guide 2 to be taken by the needles. The segment projects beyond the edge of the guide into the path of thread between a clamp 17 and a guide eye 13 of a thread feeding arm which is in the working position. The thread can be moved to the inactive position shown in chain-dotted lines. The threads are separated by wire guards 32. (For Figures see next column)
