Abstract

1,091,244. Knitting-machines. WIRKMASCHINENBAU KARL-MARX-STADT, VEB. Dec. 3, 1964, No. 49209/64. Heading DIC. A two feed circular knitting machine has a thread separating plate 8 which vertically separates the threads from two feeding stations and a single thread suction pipe 2 to remove the thread ends which is situated behind the second working station in the direction of rotation of the needle cylinder. Threads from one feed pass over the plate 8 and threads from the other feed below it, both being held by spring clamps. The suction pipe 2 has apertures above and below the plate 8. A thread severing device is provided.
