1329246 Iron alloy powder BANDSTAHLKOMBINAT VEB 30 Oct 1970 [10 Nov 1969] 55000/69 Heading C7D A compressible Fe alloy powder for the production of sintered alloys is made by mixing an air atomized Fe powder with a powder alloying component and heating the mixture to effect surface diffusion. In an example atomized Fe powder containing 3À64% O 2 and 6À367C is mixed with 4À74% Ni powder and annealed to form a powder for the production of sintered steel. Ni O may be substituted for the Ni powder.
