Abstract

1328471 Concrete floor structure ROLF TELLSTEDT AB 3 Jan 1972 [11 Jan 1971] 84/72 Heading E1W A concrete floor is formed between supporting beams 8, which may rest on columns, by spanning a series of parallel adjacent slabs 3 with upwardly projecting integral beams 5 between beams 8. The projecting beams 5 terminate short of the ends of the slabs 3 and are shorter than the span between the supporting beams 8. The slabs are then supported intermediate their span by temporary supports, conduits and cables placed in position and the concrete, floor 10 formed. The spaces between the beams 5 may be filled with granulated foam plastics, cork granules or mineral wool or covered with permanent shuttering boards or corrugated plates. Concrete is then cast over the stabs. Precast concrete slabs may be placed with recesses over projecting reinforcement from the beams 5 and grouted in position.
