Abstract

1429635 Squash courts D S RICHARDSON 14 March 1973 [17 March 1972] 12693/ 72 Heading E1A A squash court is erected from prefabricated sheets 25 secured to a framework of timber rails attached to steel supports 28, 29, the spaces between the rails being filled in with concrete or brick, forming a hard and rigid backing for the sheets 25 which are preferably of asbestos cement. The skeleton framework of timber rails is preferably backed by an outer wall 34 of brick and defines cavities which are in-filled by concrete or like blocks 27 or poured concrete 26. Insulation 36, roof vents and external cladding 35 of asbestos cement is also provided.
