Abstract
1323504 Thermionic valves SIEMENS AG 5 Oct 1971 [6 Oct 1970] 46202/71 Heading H1D An electron discharge tube comprises at least three coaxial cylindrical electrodes 1, 2, 3 having terminals 7, 10, 11, 13 connectible outside the tube with corresponding coaxial conductors forming resonant circuits therewith and a cylindrical, coaxial high resistance metal attenuation element 4 between adjacent electrode structures, outside the operative region of the corresponding electrodes and mounted on a terminal ring. A tetrode comprises a wire cathode 1, a control grid 2, a screen grid 3, an anode 4 and attenuation element 14 of ferromagnetic highly permeable CoFe alloy. The element 14 may be used in a triode.
