1316632 Boots &c SVIT NARODNI PODNIK 1 June 1970 [13 June 1969] 26391/70 Heading A3B A method of making a waterproof shoe includes the steps of slush moulding thermoplastic material to form an outer including an upper portion and a sole portion, cutting away the central area of the sole portion to leave a lasting margin, making a lining including upper and sole portions from a material capable of absorbing sweat, inserting the lining in the other, and then fixing an insole and a sole and heel to the upper assembly. The lining may be made from natural or imitation leather and may be joined to the moulded outer by adhesive bonding, sewing, seaming or other methods. The sole and heel may be of natural leather, rubber or plastics material and may be attached to the upper assembly by adhesive bonding, moulding or other methods.
