Abstract

1313822 Dry shavers SPERRY RAND CORP 8 Oct 1971 [30 Dec 1970] 46967/71 Heading B4B An electric dry shaver comprises a cutter head 12 mounted on a casing 11 and including a stationary cutter 16 co-operating with a movable cutter 17 reciprocated by a motor 23 via a drive member 35, the drive member being provided with flexible leg members 44, 45 detachably secured to flanges 68, 70 on a plate 60 by clamp members 76, 77. As shown the drive member is made from a plastics material and formed from three separate portions 39, 40, 41 each provided with an arm 36 for engagement with a respective cutter 17. The flexible members 44, 45 are formed with projections 80 for location in slots 78 formed in the clamp members which are provided with slots 83 for releasable engagement with lugs 85 on the flanges 68, 70. The plate 60 is riveted to the motor housing 27.
