1297312 Regulating I C engine fuel injection HONDA GIKEN KOGYO K K 4 Aug 1970 [8 Aug 1969 9 Feb 1970] 37680/70 Heading F1B [Also in Division F2] The control chamber 5 of the fuel injection apparatus 4 of an engine E is connected by a pipe 3 to the intake pipe 1 downstream of the throttle valve 2 and the pipe 3 is connected to atmosphere through a pipe 17 and a valve device A. The valve member 18, 19, Fig.2, of the device A is operable by changes in atmospheric temperature and pressure by a bi-metallic strip 24 and an evacuated bellows 30, respectively. The valve member is mounted in a frame 29 movable on rods 28. The strip may position the frame 29 through a gear 34 and a rack 35 and the bellows may act directly on the valve member. The bellows may position the frame and the strip the valve member.
