1295592 Windscreen wipers SWFSPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 19 April 1971 [26 Feb 1970] 22679/71 Heading A4F A windscreen wiper blade may be connected either to a wiper arm having a straight end 21, Fig.1, or to one having a hooked end 26, Fig.2, by a resilient U-shaped connector 10 mountable on a pivot pin 22 of a wiper blade holder in either of the two positions shown in Figs.1 and 2, one shank of the connector 10 having a socket, 15 for receiving the end 21 or 26. A projection 16 on the inner wall 17 of the socket engages in a recess or aperture in the end 21 or 26. The wall 17 is formed with a fingerpiece 18 operable to disengage the projection 16 from the recess or aperture. A groove 24 in the connector 10 is arranged to receive a projection 23 on the end 21.
