Abstract

1461819 Windscreen wipers SWF-SPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 16 Dec 1974 [31 Jan 1974] 54211/74 Heading A4F A windscreen wiper system comprises a wiper arm 10 having a laterally projecting pivot pin 11 engaged in a bore 21 in a plastics wiper blade yoke 20 having formed integrally therewith a resilient element 23 engaged in a locking groove 12 in the pivot pin 11 to secure the wiper blade 20 on the wiper arm 10. The free end of the element 23 is displaceable manually to release the element from the locking groove 12. In two alternative embodiments Figs. 4 and 6, (not shown), the element 23 engages in the groove 12 at the front and the rear side of the pin 11, respectively, and has a lateral extension (24) manually depressible to release the element 23.
