1295996 Windscreen wipers SWF - SPEZIALFABRIK FUR AUTOZUBEHOR, GUSTAV RAU GmbH 19 April 1971 [21 Feb 1970] 22319/71 Heading A4F A device for securing the end of a windscreen wiper arm to a wiper blade comprises a substantially U-shaped resiliant connecting member 10, preferably of plastics material, mountable rotatably on a bearing pin 22 on a wiper blade holder by the retention of the pin 22 in a slot 19.20 in the member 10 shaped to retain the pin, and having one arm thereof formed with a socket 15 to receive the end of a wiper arm 21 and a recess 16 to receive a lateral projection 23 on the wiper arm 21. The inner wall of the socket 15 is formed as a resilient tongue 17 having an extension 18 serving as a finger-piece by means of which the tongue 17 may be bent to allow the wiper arm 21 to be disengaged from the connector 10.
