856,162. Windscreen cleaners. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. Nov. 25, 1958 [Dec. 3, 1957], No. 37664/57]. Class 138(1). A wiper blade comprises a rubber and a backing in which the backing has an enlarge. ment having a part cylindrical surface with its axis extending lengthwise of the backing the enlargement being embraced by a bracket extending around more than 180 degrees of the enlargement so that a relative rotation of the enlargement and the bracket is admitted through a limited angle, the bracket having means for attachment to the wiper arm. As shown, a cylindrical block 3 is riveted to the central portion of the backing 2 of a rubber strip 1 and embraced by a bracket 4 with curved side pieces 5 and an outwardly projecting portion 6 for the attachment to the wiper arm. Bracket 4 is held between a flange 7 and a part circular clip 8 which fits into a notch 9.
