Abstract

1285132 Blasting HEINRICH SCHLICK KG 15 April 1970 [16 April 1969] 17937/70 Heading B3D A mixing chamber for a blasting machine comprises a housing 1 provided with an inlet aperture for compressed air, an outlet for a mixture of compressed air and surface blasting agent, and a flange for connection to a pressure storage container 9, a partition being provided in an extended conical section of the flange and having a triangular passage aperture 2 for the blasting agent 10 and a circular opening for a riser pipe 6. The aperture 2 is opened or closed by a valve 4 rotated by a spindle 5 mounted in a graphite bearing in the housing. The upper end of the riser pipe has a conical closure member 12 and a cup 7 for hermetically sealing the container 9.
