[Also in Group XXIX] Fluid under pressure, e.g. water from a pump of a washing-machine, is supplied to a housing 2 and is prevented from passing through the outlet into a container 1 e.g. the bowl of the washing-machine, by a flap valve 8 integral with or hinged to a gasket 3 located between a plate 5 and the wall 1 of the container on which the flange 2<SP>1</SP> of the housing 2 is mounted, a gasket 4 being interposed between the flange and the wall. The flap 8 is moved to the open position by inserting a draining hose 6 into the outlet. The housing 2 has an additional outlet 9 which is open when the flap valve 8 is closed.
