Abstract

127,849. Harrison, C. W. May 29, 1917. Drawings to Specification. Riflings.-Consists in decreasing the twist of the rifling for a short distance at the muzzle, so that the increased forward speed of the projectile does not cause an increase in its speed of rotation after the front driving-band has left the bore.
