Abstract

1276063 Valves WALTER KIDDE CO Ltd 21 Dec 1970 [3 Feb 1970] 5216/70 Heading F2V A diversion valve for inflating two chambers in a liferaft in succession comprises an inlet 3 and a first outlet 4 with which the inlet communicates when the valve member is locked by a cable 24 and ball 26 against the force of a spring 14, and a second outlet 5 which communicates with the inlet 3 after the cable has been moved to release the lock. The cable may be moved manually or automatically in response to the fully inflated condition of the first liferaft chamber. The valve is reset manually.
