Abstract

1275256 Spray-producers JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 3 July 1969 [18 July 1968] 51675/71. Divided out of 1275255 Heading B2F [Also in Division F4] In a liquid atomising device, particularly for use in the burners of gas turbine engines, a stream of air flows from the tubular body 25, Fig. 2, through a swirler 33 within a convergent nozzle 34 (optional), and liquid ejected from an annular passage 27 through holes 29 is deflected into the swirling air flow by an inwardly directed annular rib 30. (For Figure see-next page)
