Division F4] In a liquid atomising device, particularly for use in the burners of gas turbine engines, a stream of air flows from the tubular body 10 through a swirler 13, and liquid ejected through nozzles 19 at the end of tube 14 impinges upon a concave annular flange 18 and is directed therefrom into the airstream as an expanding sheet in a slightly upstream direction.
