Abstract

1,274,315. Agricultural implements. HORSTINE FARMERY Ltd. 16 March, 1970 [15 March, 1969], No. 13736/69. Heading A1B. A device for securing a tool to a tool bar having mutually inclined projecting surfaces 1, 2, 3, and 4 comprises spaced, parallel plates 5, 6 the upper edges of which are contoured and bridged to form mutually inclined bearing surfaces 7', 8' at one end of a horizontal surface 15', at the other end of which is an inclined bearing surface 9' adjacent a vertical surface 11, the plates being adapted to fit onto the tool bar and be secured by a clamp 20 which lies between the plates 5, 6 and is drawn against the vertical surface 11 and the tool bar, e.g. by a nut 22 and bolt 21, with the undersurface of the tool bar abutting the horizontal surface 15'. Tools may be clamped in sockets formed between the vertical plate 11 and plates 12, 13, 14.
