Framework; planes, construction of.-A girder for aeroplane wings comprises two channel shaped lattice members A B stamped from sheet metal and secured 'back to back, in contact or spaced by strips H at top and bottom ; in the latter case transverse diagonal struts F are added. The oblique ribs A<1>, B<1> or D<1>, E<1> of the members are channelled. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 126,391.
