Abstract

1,258,907. Hangers for sliding doors. SWISH PRODUCTS Ltd. 22 April, 1969 [23 April, 1968], No. 19071/68. Heading E1J. A slide fitting comprises a member 10 mountable on a panel, and a member 11 having a T-section head 15 slidable in a channel-section track, the members being relatively adjustable vertically and lockable together. Slide member 11 contains a slot 13 having bevelled side faces 16 with lateral ridges. Mounting member 10 is of complementary shape to, but shorter than the slot 13, and also has lateral ridges. Member 11 is placed against an end face of a panel, member 10 inserted in the slot and loosely secured to the panel by a screw through bore 19, the screw being tightened after vertical adjustment of member 10. In Figs. 3-6 (not shown) a slide member 211 is adjustable in a slot in a cylindrical member 210 engaged in a bore in a panel.
