Heading E1J.. ;;; A suspension fitting for a sliding door panel 1 comprises a slide member 2 of polyamide with a head portion 5 'to engage on a guide. rail 3 below which extends a body portion offset to one side from .the central suspension plane through the portion 5, so that the body portion may be countersunk into a recess in a panal 1 with at least a part of it bearing against a downwardlyfacing wall portion of the panel 1. The part of .the, body portion bearing against a recess wall comprises a projecting foot 6 and the slide member 2 is secured in the recess by at least one screw 7.
