Abstract

1336046 Adjustable hinge member L S TAYLOR 9 June 1971 19809/71 Heading E2F An adjustable hinge member for fitting in the corner of a door frame includes a bearing member 38 having a bore 40 for receiving a door's hinge pin 36, the member 38 being independently movable both laterally and longitudinally in a support member 10, and an adjustment means operable to release the member 38 from a locked position for longitudinal movement and to effect said lateral movement. The adjustment means includes a bolt 48 threadedly engaging a nut 46 non-rotatably retained in the member 38 and passing through a slot 34 in the support member 10. A locking nut 50 co-operates with a plate 54 engaged over a groove in the bolt 48. A housing 58 covers the bearing member 38 and is retained by inwardly bent edges 68.
