Abstract
1,185,585. Cabinets. OSTA-WERKE KœCHENMÍBELFABRIK G.m.b.H. 15 Oct., 1968 [1 Nov., 1967; 9 Nov., 1967], No. 48856/68. Heading A4B. A cabinet front wall 2 is secured to a slidable, pull-out bottom 4 of the cabinet by a device comprising a plate 1 screwed to the rear face of the wall 2 and an angle member 5 screwed through its horizontal limb to the upper surface of the bottom 4 and having a vertical limb 6 which carries the plate 1 for vertical adjustment. A channel rail 7 is secured to the vertical limb 6 and houses a square section tube 11 secured to the plate 1. A spindle 10 is supported in end bearings 8, 9 of the rail 7 and is threadedly engaged in nuts 12 in the ends of the tube 11 so that rotation of the spindle 10 using a screwdriver slot 13 effects vertical displacement of the tube 11 and hence the plate 1 and wall 2. Horizontal screws slots 3 in the plate 1 facilitate horizontal adjustment of the wall 2 position. The rail 7 may be welded to the limb 6. Alternatively, the rail 7 may be secured to the limb 6 by a lower pivot pin 17 and an upper, locking screw 21 engaged in a slot 20 in the limb 6 so that the inclination of the wall 2 may be adjusted.
