Abstract

1383654 Shelving WILLIAM PEARCE (PRESSINGS) Ltd 12 Feb 1973 [1 Jan 1972] 9/72 Heading A4B A shelf 9 is supported on wall brackets 21 having an outer and tongue 27 engaged in a front groove 16 on the underside of the shelf and a pivoted lever 30 which is rotatable about the axis of a bolt 31 so that the free end 34 of the lever 30 engages in a rear groove 13 of shelf to press the latter against the wall and to prevent separation of the shelf from the bracket. A sealing strip 11 is interposed between the shelf and wall. The bolt 31 is adjustably positioned in a slot 32 in the bracket. A wall fixing screw 24 is engaged through a slot 23 in the bracket to facilitate a fine adjustment of the shelf height. Alternatively, the lever may be replaced by screws on wedges for urging the shelf into abutment with the wall.
