Abstract

The frame of the television stand consists of two parallel square section tubes joined by a central plate mounted on a vertical tube. Smaller section square tubes (5) slide inside the larger tubes. Each tube (5) carries a plate (11), (12) with a raised edge (13) and (14). The plate (11) is provided with a slot which engages a screw which screws into the plate (12) and locks the two plates together in a position to suit the front to rear dimension of the television set. Similar screws lock the tubes (5) in the main tubes to suit the width of the set. The raised edges (13) and (14) prevent the set sliding off the stand.
