Abstract
1,144,717. Article display and dispensing stand. SALES ACHIEVEMENT Ltd. 27 Sept., 1967 [11 April, 1967], No. 16499/67. Heading A4T. A display stand for cigarette packets comprises a storage unit supported on telescopic pillars 13, 14 and clamped detachably with screw clamps 16, or permanently with a screwed bracket (Fig. 4, not shown) to the back of a counter. At the top, the pillars may be screwed or welded to the bottom of the storage unit or detachably connected by horizontal plates 12 slidable within a flanged channel 10 and clamped by screws 18. The storage unit has a transparent plastics front 23 and back 24, with a fillet (28, Fig. 3, not shown) to push the bottom packet (26) from a column of packets rearwards so that it can be withdrawn through the space between the bottom of the back sheet 24 and the base 8. Partitions 21 fit adjustably into slots in strips 22 fitted into recesses along the top 7 and bottom 8 of the unit. A centre partition 9 divides the back into two. The strip 31 across the unit top may carry information and trays 33 may be fixed in brackets 32 outside either end.
