Abstract

1376444 Apparatus for viewing transparencies PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 10 March 1972 [9 June 1971] 19707/71 Heading G2X A viewer for viewing X-ray or other film transparencies 10 comprises a translucent panel 1 having means for attaching frame members 2, said means being secured to the panel by a fastener which also includes a clip 8 for holding the film against the panel. The frames 2 may be of aluminium, and have the cross-section shown in Fig. 2. Frames 2 are attached by sliding them over strips 6 of a moulded plastics material which are attached to the panel 1 by screws 7. Each screw 7 also secures, between panel I and strip 6, a clip 8 which has a lip 9 biased towards the panel, so that the transparency is inserted and gripped between clip and panel.
