Abstract

1298916 Stands M JAROSCH 28 May 1971 [29 May 1970] 18049/71 Heading A4H A stand for a TV set comprises a support bar 4 provided at opposite ends with telescopic extension bars 5, each extension bar 5 having an angle bracket 7 extending perpendicularly thereto and provided with screw apertures 8 for securing a TV set, the bar 4 including a peg 3 that is rotatably mounted in a column 2 on a base 1. The base 1 may be circular, or it may comprise four or five legs. Column 2 may be integral with or screwed into base 1. Rotation of peg 3 in column 2 is limited by a horizontal locking screw in column 2. The extension bars 5 are locked to support bar 4 by screws 6. The bars and brackets may comprise metal, and the base plastics or wood.
