Abstract
1,251,936. Cabinets; cabinet frames. STREATER INDUSTRIES Inc. Sept.29, 1970 [Sept.29, 1969], No.46223/70. Headings A4B and A4H. A cabinet frame comprises at least four identical side frames 10-13, two identical end frames 14 and 15, and at least one intermediate frame 16, each side frame including upper and lower tubular members 34, 35 secured to upper and lower door tracks 30, 42, each end frame including studs 58 for engagement in the tubular members 34, 35, and the intermediate frame 16 including vertical members 64 for resting between vertical parts 23, 27 and 21, 25 of the adjacent side frames, the adjacent tubular members 34 and 35 being joined by separate connectors 70 engaged therein. Legs 57 and 68 are attached to the end and intermediate frames 14, 15 and 16, legs 57 resting in the angles formed by vertical parts 21, 25 and 23, 27 of the adjacent side frames. Studs 58 and connectors 70 may include resiliently biased buttons for co-operation with holes in the tubular members 34, 35. Side frame parts 25, 27 and legs 57 and intermediate frame members 64 may be fastened by screw studs, holes and nuts. Sliding doors are mounted in tracks 30, 42, end panels are attached to the end frames 15, 14, floor sections may be attached to parts 28 and 65 of the side and intermediate frames, and a top may be attached to the top surfaces of tubular members 34 and end frames 14, 15.
