Abstract

1,162,774. Cabinets; joints. K. B. K. A. LUNDBERG. 21 June, 1968, No. 29873/68. Headings A4B and A4H. A dismountable cabinet has boundary walls in edge to edge abutment and secured by bolts 8, the walls having flush portions 1a, 5a from which are bent flanges each having two legs 1b 1c and 5b, 5c respectively defining corners 1d and 5d between them, one flange 1b 1c together with the portion 1a defining a Z-shape and the other flange 5b, 5c with its portion 5a defining a V-shape, and the bolt 8 being passed through the nested corners 1d, 5d and secured by a nut 9 with a washer 10 with a V-shaped face to receive a flange corner 1d. A rectangular front frame (7o, Fig. 3) carrying doors (6) has one Z-shaped portion 7a-c) to receive the V-shaped edge of a top panel (5) and another (7g-i) defining an edge (7h) of the door opening and a stop (7i) for the door.
