[Also in Division E1] An angle-section member 10 used, e.g., for cabinet frameworks, has channelsection flange margins 13, 14 with inturned lugs 17, 18. The margins 13 and 14 have apertures 19 formed therein to facilitate the construction of corner joints, using channel-shaped apertured brackets screwed to the angle-sectioned members. The brackets may be angled in the plane of the material (Fig. 3, not shown) or out of the plane of the material (Fig. 5, not shown), depending on whether the faces of the flanges of the members to be joined lie in the same, or mutually perpendicular faces respectively. The corners may be mitred (Fig. 4, not shown), or have three mitre joints for a three-way corner connection (Fig. 6, not shown). Alternatively, the flanges of the angle-section members, with the exception of the flange margins, may be cut off square, and spigoted filling pieces employed (Fig. 2, not shown).
