Abstract

521,903. Dust-shield for corners. BYSOU APPLIANCE CO., Ltd., and HARRISON, E. Nov. 28, 1938, No. 34535. [Class 20 (ii)] A dust shield for corners is formed with as many edges as there are planes meeting at the corner, such edges being bevelled, and the rear surface of the plate has a spike projecting from it and so placed that when the plate is slid along any two of the resting planes in a direction towards the corner, this pin projects into one of the other planes. The pin c may be carried by a bevelled projection b at the rear of the plate a which may have a dished front face. A further projection may be provided at the pin position on the front face of the plate to provide a grip for a punch when driving the pin home. The plate may be made of thermo-plastic or thermo-setting materials.
