Abstract

The range of components may be used to build drawers and includes panels and corner pieces (10). The corner pieces are of angle form and present sockets (18) for the reception of panel ends. The panel ends are secured in position by elastic spring clip fasteners, with projections (22) from the corner pieces (10) engaging notches in the panel ends. The panels are of uniform cross section, and the corner pieces are of 'L' shape and 'C' shape in horizontal and vertical section respectively. Diaphragms may be provided in the corner pieces to limit panel penetration, and the projecting elements of the elastic fasteners may be chamfered to aid assembly. Drawer floor panels may be housed in grooves (17) which are provided in both the side panels and the corner pieces.
