Abstract

1410377 Drawers L B (PLASTICS) Ltd 8 Dec 1972 56752/72 Heading A4B The sides 6, 7 and back 8 of a drawer are formed by identical hollow extruded plastics panels each formed with a groove 10 to receive an edge of the drawer bottom 5, the panels being interconnected by corner pieces each comprising projections 14 which fit into the hollow ends of the panels, the projections 14 extending from a corner post 13 which is exposed in the connected condition and which has a top and bottom which is of rectangular shape, i.e. a is slightly greater than b, so that in the connected condition one panel overlaps the end of an adjacent panel on the inside of the corner. The panels include a runner groove 12. The projections 14 may be permanently secured in the panels or, as shown, may have resilient tongues 15 which snap-fit into holes 17 in the panels. The front wall 9 is fitted with a handle, is secured to the side walls by connectors 19 or alternatively, when the front wall is identical to the other walls, by further corner connectors 13, 14
