Abstract

1536536 Drawers L B (PLASTICS) Ltd 11 Dec 1975 [11 Sept 1974] 50741/75 Divided out of 1536535 Heading A4B A drawer has a hollow, extruded back wall 12 and opposed, moulded side walls 10, 11 each having projections 24 on its inner face for engagement in the hollow ends 25 of the back wall, each projection 24 having a rectangular detent member 26 with a vertical, flat end-face which engages a co-operating flat face in a corresponding rectangular aperture 27 in the back wall to resist withdrawal of the projections 24 from within the back wall. As shown, each side wall 10, 11 has a front end flange 22 with holes 23 to receive screws for securing a wooden front 13. Alternatively, the front wall may be similar to the back wall and may be secured to the side walls in a manner similar to that by which the back wall is secured. The side walls have one or more ribs 17-20 which are selectively utilized to engage a fixed runner or rollers.
