Abstract

[Also in Divisions B8 and El] A toy construction unit comprises at least two members 1, 1' 1"' with the face of the base 2 or a side wall 3, 4 of one member being connected to or integrally moulded with the face of the base or side wall of the other member. Each member 1 comprises a polygonal base 2 having an even number of edges with a side wall 3, 4 on every other edge of the base, the free edges 3a-c, 4a-c, and 2a-b of the walls and base being inwardly chamfered so that when the walls are interleaved with the wall of an identical member the chamfers on the meeting edges mate with each other and a closed box is formed. Further side walls, also with chamfered free edges, may be positioned between adjacent side walls 3, 4 inwardly of the chamfered edges 2a, 2b of the base. The further side walls may be opaque and the side walls 3, 4 transparent. The base may be a rhombus.
