1314894 Furniture joints; drawers CARR FASTENER CO Ltd 14 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 34763/70 Headings A4B and A4H [Also in Division E2] Side walls of a drawer have longitudinal cavities 1, 2 that receive wings 8, 9 of corner pieces 7, each wing being retained in its cavity by a U- shaped metal clip one arm 12 of which has resilient tongues 13 that frictionally engage the cavity wall and the other arm (14) of which extends into a slot 10 or 11 in the wing and has barbs (15) that frictionally engage the slot wall. The walls and corner pieces may comprise resilient plastics, and the walls each include a groove (4) to receive the drawer floor and a groove 5 for slideably receiving a cabinet runner.
