Abstract

1455982 Shelving MULTIMUEBLE ESPANA SA 2 May 1975 [14 Jan 1975] 18397/75 Heading A4B In a shelving assembly of the type in which brackets 2 have hooks 4 selectively engaged in slots 3 formed in wall mounted channel-section uprights 1, the uprights 1 are provided at each end with holes 9 to receive fixing screws, one of the ends being constituted by a channel-section insert portion 10 which may be snugly received in an end of a further upright 1 so that the uprights are disposed in aligned end-to-end relationship and the holes 9 of the interengaged ends are aligned to receive a single fixing screw. The hooks 4 have an inclined inner face 5 and each bracket 2 has oppositely extending stabilizer tabs 6, 7 which in use bear on the front face of the upright. The shelf 14 is retained beneath a resilient protuberance 13 pressed out from the upright and behind an upstanding end 8 of the bracket. The limbs of the upright diverge from the web and are rebated along the edges intermediately of their ends.
