Abstract

The frame for furniture with metal panels is formed of square tubular members, the corners of the upper and lower rectangles of the frame being provided with bruces (16). The panels may be formed with stepped edges so that when assembled, the outer faces of the panels are in the planes of the frame. The doors are attached to the frame by hinges with pins (27) attached to pegs (13) received in the vertical tubular members (1). The pegs are provided with diagonal tapped holes (14) which receive bolts whose heads (15) bear on the braces.
